Quitting does not mean failing.⁣

Sometimes we step into new situations where we are completely determined to make it work. To put all our energy into and giving it 100%. But sometimes those situations end up not working out at all, because of a million reasons or maybe just one.⁣
⁣
That doesn’t mean it failed. It means life threw you an opportunity to learn, observe & grow again. In the end we are all just trying to be the author of our own story, but sometimes we can’t fill the pages all by ourselves ❤️

Healthy comes in many forms and ways.⁣

What might seem healthy to one, is not necessarily healthy for someone else. For most part of my life I was trying to obtain this “perfect healthy” lifestyle and beating myself up if I did not succeed.⁣
⁣
Lately however, I made a huge shift in mindset and realised I don’t have to be perfect all the time. I was watching a video from @whitneyysimmons and she kept saying that if you want to eat a cookie, eat it. If you want to sleep in and skip the gym, do it. It’s about balancing it out. Living a healthy lifestyle for 80% of the time is still REALLY healthy. And if you want to indulge on cookies and ice cream for 20% of the time, then please, be my guest.⁣
⁣
I think this also applies in so many aspects of life, not only in terms of food or being active. Because in the end if we still put 80% of our energy into work, our friendships, relationships or whatever, you are still doing pretty swell.⁣

Another one please ☕️. I’ve been trying to drink less coffee and stick to 1 cup a day (I know!) and usually only drink a lungo during the week but boy do I enjoy indulging on some oat cappuccinos in the weekend 👏🏼 what is your favorite beverage?

Lately I have been thinking about my future goals

Lately I have been thinking about my future goals and what I would like to achieve, short-term and long-term.⁣
⁣
I always like to live in the now and be very mindful, but truth is I also get anxious about setting goals because the future sometimes (a lot of times) scares the sh*t out of me. Anyway, we can’t always avoid adulthood and I think it is good to set some realistic goals so here we go. Plus saying these things out loud might actually work in my favor because law of attraction y’all 👏🏼⁣
⁣
* I want to save up more money in the upcoming months to create a bigger buffer and have more financial security ⁣
* I want to work on sustainable routines in terms of my mental health, fitness & being active so it is something I can sustain in the long haul⁣
* I want to continue to grow and develop the relationship with my friends, family but most importantly myself.⁣
* I want to keep working on my relationship towards food & the way I consume food. Eating more by intuition instead of restriction is my aim.⁣
⁣
So there we have it, my 4 goals. Some a bit more concrete than others but they still excite me. How about you? What are your goals for the near future? 🌿
